CA is ecstatic to report the success of its first commercial lighting programme. On Saturday 27th September, Creative Alliance saw an early morning arrival of 8 photographers all varying in photographic practice and stages of their careers, who were eager to learn from the lighting wizard that is Richard Battye.
The busy weekend workshop saw the explanation and practical demonstration of various lighting tips and tricks of the trade within River Studios, the group were then separated into pairs to work within their own studio set-ups, whilst being guided and assisted by Richard. The group also where given the opportunity to produce still-life, fashion, portraiture and recreations of images they had selected themselves.
The weekends smooth running was helped along by the presence of professional model Anni and photographic assistant Ally.
