This week has seen the launch of Creative Alliances pioneering Community Arts Apprenticeship programme, a ground breaking opportunity to help develop new employment routes in to the sector for diverse creative talent and capacity build SME arts organisations in the region.
The Creative Apprenticeship is up to a year long programme, where apprentices get to earn while they learn, in community arts workplaces, with day release for centre support and group training at Creative Alliances home at the Custard Factory.
More and more employers in the region are getting on board with this programme and applications for the next intake of apprentices are coming in thick and fast for a September 09 start.
