Our very own Creative Apprentice Kristina and Project Manager Anna visited Gallery 37's Headquarters on Monday. 40 young people aged between 16-24 that have been working alongside professional artists in collaboration with four of the citys cultural organisations: The Birmingham REP, Ikon, BAMG and Sampad.
This was an opportunity for the young people to hear about the options that are open to them after the project finishes, as the Creative Apprenticeship programme offers on the job training, young people are able to 'earn whilst they learn' as it were. The morning was a success with many young people leaving their contact details for further information about the programme.
Gallery 37 has a showcase of work on Friday 21st August on 1st Floor of the Pavillions in Birmingham City Centre. CA will be attending if anyone would like to join us
