Is Diversity at work an issue?

Diversity & Inclusion: Is a bit of an issue getting the workforce of the creative and cultural industries to reflect the makeup of its audiences and customers. As an industry we are incredibly open to ideas but if we truly look at our industry our diversity can be a little thin on the ground.

Creative Alliance with their partners are looking for a true reflection and discussion of the issues with their event; Widening the Gate.

Widening The Gate is an event at mac in Cannon Hill Park on the afternoon of July 3^rd designed to look at practical solutions to the issue.

We’ve brought together a great panel of speakers from employers such as McCann and Royal Opera House as well as policy influencers from the Creative Industries Federation, Creative & Cultural Skills and the Local Enterprise Partnership.
