Content Producer and Gallery Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Helping maintain digital marketing channels
  • Managing social channels with content from the projects and general marketing messages
  • Developing video that suits our organization and is creative to go on social
  • Working on images that will promote the gallery and exhibitions
  • Updating all content on social and web channels
  • Reporting back on the social channels and website performance.
  • Registrar – keeping records of artworks and condition reports
  • Logistics – organising timings and finding cost effective shipping estimates
  • Administration – updating artists C.V and works lists, preparing consignment agreements and assisting in writing press releases / proof reading
  • Customer service, working with clients including art buyers, collectors and curators who visit the gallery, invigilation
  • Interest in 3D technologies and developing 3D capabilities at Pitt
  • Customer service – Attend art fairs and assist in the running of a trade fair
  • Research rules around touring in Europe and information gathering Brexit rules and regulations concearning import / export paperwork.
  • Completing your level 3 apprenticeship in Junior Content Producer
Requirements:

Applicants should be literate and numerate. Grade C/4 and above in English, Maths and IT and Art are preferable

Skills required:
  • Attention to detail
  • Proactive and positive with a can-do attitude
  • Computer-literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Effective communication skills
  • Research skills and fact finding
  • Referencing and proof reading
  • Basic understanding of how to design and create videos.
  • Desirable – Basic understanding of photoshop
  • Desirable – Understanding of basic 3D imaging
