Main Responsibilities: You’ll become a driving force behind the EAST VILLAGE. brand; creating images, infographics, videos and other exciting content for our digital marketing channels. As well as working alongside the team to create and deliver content for client campaigns too; from carousels and Reels, to Tik Tok and YouTube videos.
Core Duties: Working with the team you will research, prepare and develop exciting content to help with both the business’ own marketing and also the campaigns we deliver for clients. This will include creating content and supporting the team with managing social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter and YouTube. As Content Creator, you will be up to date with online and digital marketing trend; researching and developing content that maximizes audience engagement and drives them to take action. Your social media content will be scroll-stopping, your email campaigns will make them click, your blog posts will keep them on the page, and your design will have the wow-factor. Ideally, you’ll be proficient in design programmes such as Photoshop, InDesign and Canva, and will present your ideas to the team and, in some cases, clients. You’ll showcase the value of your content alongside your account team, creating reports that track results and show insights.
General Duties: You’ll become part of the EAST VILLAGE. team, working hard to deliver for our clients, but having fun whilst doing it. We expect you to be a positive advocate for the business at all times, including on social media, when responding by email and on calls. Confidence in both verbal and written communication is key and we’ll help build your presentation skills too; enabling you to become a point of contact for clients and suppliers, as you build your confidence and experience. It goes without saying that you’ll be expected to adhere to our company process, policies and procedures; including GDPR and health and safety. You’ll also need to be compliant with all relevant funding conditions and reporting requirements and carry out any additional reasonable duties as required and agreed with your line manager.

Technical skills: Creative thinking: keen to turn ideas into visual images & videos that show detail & engage. ITC literate, using Word, Excel and Powerpoint & able to use Photoshop & InDesign. You will have a love of social media, following the latest trends & great influencers. Know how to create and post content, and manage social media communities. Confident and professional when communicating by email & happy to use computer programmes and software including Monday.com, Slack and Zoom.
Training to be provided:
All kickstarts have training included as part of the programme. This will be employability skills programmes and training for the role.
