The Digital Content Creator at Rethink Mental Illness will play a key role in creating, engaging and inspiring digital content across our range of digital channels. The role works closely with the HR and Organisational colleagues produce engaging learning content which is truly blended and not only meets mandatory requirements but develops necessary skills and demonstrates measurable impact.

This role requires someone who is creative and can identify, create, manage and deliver digital content using a range of techniques, and software programmes. The role will work across a range of projects in the organisation and therefore effective working relationships will need to be formed with various internal teams, external stakeholders and third-party suppliers. Main Responsibilities

This role will be creating digital content upon request. Additionally, there will be a requirement to learn additional content creation software

Core Duties:

Develop creative and innovative eLearning solutions by consulting with OD colleagues and subject matter experts to convert raw content into polished, interactive, digital learning, Produce storyboards, scripts and creative learning solutions which bring learning to life and engage and inspire our people

Create graphics and edit photos, working with the internal comms team when necessary

Participate in regular departmental and cross departmental progress meetings

Proof-read as required

Create digital content in any of the following formats: Articles, Artwork, Audio, Brochures, E-books, Charts, Graph, Graphics, Images/photos, Infographics

Requirements:

You need to be 18-25 years old and on Universal Credit.

Skills required:

Previous experience of creating digital content across the following applications: Video, PDFs, MS Office

Experience of photography and creating/editing images,

using packages such as Adobe Photoshop

Strong creative skills and a keen eye for detail

Highly organised

Excellent customer service skills Good written and oral communication skills

Good proof-reading skills

Excellent attention to detail

Candidates must be creative and able to demonstrate digital content that they have created from school, college and in their free time

They need to be able to work under their own direction as this is a home based role

Training to be provided:

Induction training – covers six virtual sessions plus eight e-learning modules Additional external training will be given for software applications that are identified as part of this role This role will have a mentor appointed – Head of OD and Talent

They will receive external employability support from Creative Alliance who will help them produce a new CV and portfolio so they can compete for marketing positions after their six months on the Kickstart scheme.
