Working week: Monday - Friday (occasional weekend work required)
Description:

We are looking for a young, ambitious, and technically minded individual who can come and join our team and support our marketing activities. 

The role will involve day to support to our team and external PR agency.  Managing and collecting material related to our projects and products to generate photographic content for digital platforms, as well as assisting and reporting with marketing campaigns across the different product portfolio.

We offer a relaxed but focus driven work environment and are looking for someone who can use their own initiative when working independently of the team.  As a family run business the dynamics are one where everyone has their own role however people will pitch in with tasks when cover is needed, or workload increases.  A “Can Do” attitude is imperative.

Any experience with digital marketing will be advantageous. A willingness to learn and get stuck in will be key to growing in this role and being a successful member of the team

Duties will involve:

  • Marketing our projects using social media, email marketing
  • Generating digital content: animation, copy, graphics & video
  • Carrying SEO and reporting on data & trends – liaising with our external website & SEO Account Manager

Main roles and responsibilities:

  • Localised networking
  • Social media management and engagement – (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram)
  • Creating reports and using analytics
  • Organise events and manage data capture
  • Help promote internal brands – Pro Glass & Stone, UGS (Urban Garden Space), My Outdoor Kitchens as well as Qudaus Living
  • Arrange client satisfaction reviews, photography and manage picture library

General admin

  • Assist in creating eprint brochures and promotional materials
  • Research topics to provide material for agency to write Blogs, website content and newsletter
  • Desired Qualities, Skills & Knowledge:
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of social media platforms
  • Passionate about marketing and digital marketing
  • Willingness to learn and develop skills
  • Uses initiative
  • Attention to detail
  • A creative mind-set and ability to share ideas
  • A minimum of a Grade 4 in English or equivalent is required for this role
  • Happy to work as part of small team

General

  • Adhere to company processes, policies and procedures, particularly GDPR data protection legislation and health and safety best practices around social distancing.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant funding conditions and reporting requirements
  • Act as a point of contact for external enquiries and communication
  • Work in a way which celebrates diversity in practice, programmes and projects and encourages best practice
  • Act as a positive advocate for the company at all times
  • Ensure that safeguarding and health & safety policies are observed and positively implemented
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties as required and agreed with your line manager
Requirements:

Applicants should be literate and numerate. Grade C/4 and above in English Maths and IT are preferable

Skills required:
  • Excellent literacy, written and spoken communication skills
  • Experience of using multiple social networks and GDPR aware
  • Good IT skills, MS office.
  • Basic image editing;
  • Able to work to a brief or use initiative.
  • Confidence, self-motivation
  • Able to work to a brief, independently and as part of a team. We need you to be able to solve problems AND ask for help when you need it,
Training to be provided:

Digital Marketer Level 3 Apprenticeship

This opportunity will allow the successful candidate to achieve a Level 4 Digital Marketer apprenticeship with the potential to progress to a Level 4 Marketing Executive apprenticeship. Thereafter, there is scope for further training and full-time employment.
