Digital Marketing Assistant
Main Responsibilities include creating and editing content for websites, social media and print materials; assisting in social media planning and scheduling; reporting on SEO and other analytics
Marketing our projects using social media, email marketing, press releases
Generating digital content: animation, copy, graphics & video
Keeping the website & blog updated
Carrying SEO and reporting on data & trends
Generate and regularly update content for the organisations social media feeds (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Vimeo, YouTube, Tik Tok) including text, images and video/animation.
Write and upload web content including news stories/blogs and event listings for the Yamination studios website
Conduct editing of images/video for use on website and social media
Create social media campaign planning and scheduling
Assist with planning and delivery of podcasting and livestreaming activity as appropriate
Generate social media analytics reports
Respond to initial enquiries via all communication channels including the studio email & answering the studio phone
Research digital promotional opportunities
Adhere to company processes, policies and procedures, particularly GDPR data protection
legislation and health and safety best practices around social distancing.
Ensure compliance with all relevant funding conditions and reporting requirements
Act as a point of contact for external enquiries and communication
Work in a way which celebrates diversity in practice, programmes and projects and encourages best practice
Act as a positive advocate of Yamination Studios at all times
Ensure that safeguarding and health & safety policies are observed and positively implemented
Carry out any other reasonable duties as required and agreed with the studio supervisor
This opportunity is funded through DWP applicants, therefore, must be in receipt of universal credit. Must be age 16 -24 years.
We are looking for someone who has a creative eye, can use their own initiative, has an imagination & voices innovative ideas for bringing our animation to life through Marketing. Experience with digital marketing will be important, however there will be opportunities for developing these skills further through training. Excellent literacy, written and spoken communication skills Experience of using multiple social networks and GDPR aware. Good IT skills, MS office. Able to use Adobe programmes such as Photoshop and/or other editing software/apps. Able to work to a brief, independently using own initiative and also as part of a team. Good creative eye, a competent understanding of composition and design.
Training to be provided:
Internally we can provide a vast array of skills for the role we are looking to acquire support for. As an accredited BFI Film tutor, I, along with my team, can provide basic digital software tutorials such as Microsoft Suites, Adobe Creative Suite and online packages to supporting the use of camera/film and workshop equipment. We aim to offer more specialist training across a 25 hour period by hiring experienced professionals, firstly a cinematographer, that can teach in depth, about composition, lighting, and enhanced use of equipment – which will teach both applicants about how to get the best from the in-house content, how it was created, how it can be create again, and done so, using best practice. We also aim to educate the studio assistant with a specialist DIT (Digital Image Technician) introduction for data back up, and knowledge of image, file and content organisation. And excitingly we have a procedure in place to utilise the talents of TEK Studio, a creative agency specialising in design, marketing and events, with a strong digital focus to teach in-depth the digital marketing applicant exploiting in-house content to successfully embed across our online platforms learning more about design, algorithm and organisation. We intend to work closely with Creative Alliance to help accredit the training undertaken by the specialist and in-house personnel with their bronze and silver tier support services.
