Description:

Purpose of the role – To support Revival Props’ Managing Director with handling inquiries, preparing orders, cataloging props, sourcing new items, and producing basic marketing materials and social media to help increase business leads and convert more opportunities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Research commercial and residential property locations for potential site clearance opportunities
  • Research potential stock and source items Review and update existing clients contacts on our internal
  • CRM system (database) Update industry personnel changes Research and suggest prop stock options for key film & event location briefs from production companies Research and update upcoming production opportunities on our internal CRM system (database)
  • Draft basic social media content
  • Prepare and receive deliveries of orders Provide basic admin and marketing support Arrange virtual and onsite consultations

Core Duties:

CRM updating and checking of assigned tasks Research on productions in development Cataloguing, updating website and marketing new props Admin support including coordination of activities and hires on rental management system Daily administration of the business’s communications including marketing and business development

General Duties:

For example Adhere to company processes, policies and procedures, particularly GDPR data protection legislation and health and safety best practices around social distancing.

Act as a point of contact for external inquiries and communication Work in a way that recognizes sustainability in practice, programs, and projects and ensures adherence to our BAFTA/Albert accreditation.

Act as a positive advocate of the company at all times Ensure that safeguarding and health & safety policies are observed and positively implemented Carry out any other reasonable duties as required and agreed with your line manager

Requirements:

This opportunity is funded through DWP applicants, therefore, must be in receipt of universal credit. Must be age 16 -24 years.

Skills required:

Good communication skills (phone and written) as you’ll be talking to clients; Positive proactive attitude; Interest in media production, design, film/TV and/or photography or retro/vintage/mid-century era Interest in sustainability preferred Technical Skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint literate; Image Editing skills to crop, resize and repurpose digital content for social media preferred A full driving license and a car would be preferred.

Training to be provided:

Online Revival will provide the Kickstart Placement with a mentor to provide ongoing support to effectively integrate them into the culture of the company and help them understand the professional standards we work to.

They will receive external employability support from Creative Alliance who will help them produce a new CV and portfolio so they can compete for positions after their six months on the Kickstart scheme. Once we have appointed our Placement, we will look at which of the Digital Skills for Business courses (coding & web design; digital content production; design; digital marketing) best meet their development needs and they will attend that level 3 certified 60-hour tutor-led course provided by Creative Alliance. Creative Alliance will provide us with £250 of the grant the Placement receives to assess any additional support needs they may have such as a laptop, additional training, or support needs.
