Retail & Marketing Assistant


Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist the Retail Department with daily tasks across our flagship and online stores.

Assist the Marketing Department with on-going marketing activities.

Assist the Product Development Department with live and planned projects.

Support social team with posts scheduling on brand social platforms following company guidance.

Engage with messaging and commentary on brand social platforms following company guidance.

Join ideation meetings focussed on new and current brand content & social post activities.

Assist with retail photo shoots, eg. sourcing and replacing stock, maintaining stock quality etc.

Responsible for sourcing and sending stock request by PR agency. Maintain details on send-outs and confirm items are returned to stock in good order for future selling.

Keep the flagship store in good order, making sure stock is replenished and displayed immaculately.

Regularly review brand website for copy, price and functionality errors notifying key stakeholders of any changes potentially required.

Regularly review the stockroom to maintain stock quality.

Collating and fulfilling daily orders from the web shop.

Communicating to the Retail Management when stock levels are low.

Support Retail Team with deliveries, communications and customer requirements – both in-store & online.


This opportunity is funded through DWP applicants, therefore, must be in receipt of universal credit. Must be age 16 -24 years.

Skills required:

The successful candidate will show a keen interest in high-end retail, has either experience in the sector and/or qualifications in public relations, retail or marketing. The opportunity requires a positive individual who is eager to learn, is a team player and strives for perfection.

Training to be provided:

All vocational support will be from the internal team. This consists of a Graphic Designer, Retail and Marketing Manager, Show Room Manager, Photographer and Creative Director.

All work together to market and promote new and upcoming products.

The young person will have an assigned supervisor who will answer to the Creative Director on their progress and there will be 1:1 feedback given regularly.

Creative Alliance will provide the Kickstart Placement with a mentor to provide ongoing support to effectively integrate them into the culture of the company and help them understand the professional standards we work to.

They will receive external employability support from Creative Alliance who will help them produce a new CV and portfolio so they can compete for marketing positions after their six months on the Kickstart scheme. Once we have appointed our Placement we will look at which of the Digital Skills for Business courses (coding & web design; digital content production; design; digital marketing) best meets their development needs and they will attend that level 3 certified 60 hour tutor lead course provided by Creative Alliance.
