Social Media & Marketing Apprentice

Salary: £ 250 per week
Working week: Monday - Friday
Description:

This role will be assisting with the digital marketing and promotion of Sentio’s products and services. It will also provide Marketing & Internal New Business support to the company to ensure that marketing is targeted to the acquisition of new clients. The role will involve supporting the Account Executive team to build campaigns across a range of channels, raising the profile of the business and targeting specific prospects to convert them into new clients.

The role:

  • Marketing our products and services using social media, email marketing
  • Generating digital content: copy, graphics & video
  • Carrying out SEO and reporting on data & trends
  • Creation of bespoke marketing actions for new business prospects to ensure active engagement with them
  • This includes creating and editing content for social media and the website; assisting in social media planning and scheduling; reporting on SEO and other analytics. It offers an excellent way to build skills and experience that will start your career in digital marketing, social media and communications with an industry-leading assistive technology company.
  • Above all we are looking for someone who can use their own initiative and can bring ideas to the table. You’ll thrive from delivering quality results from your work. Any experience with digital marketing will be advantageous. A willingness to learn and get stuck in will be key to growing in this role and being a successful member of the team.

Core Duties:

  • Drafting and scheduling content for social channels
  • Writing engaging captions for social media
  • Developing photo, video and graphic design skills to create eye catching content
  • Generating reports using social media analytics
  • Researching topics for blogs, social media content and video
  • The creation of and supporting email campaigns
  • Creating blogs and longer form articles for the website (including news stories and interviews)
  • Engaging with audiences and responding to customers across social channels
  • Assisting in the management of the company New Business Pipeline and ensuring marketing actions are developed and implemented against prospects either on a bespoke or industry wide basis to assist the team in getting the prospects into an insurance review status.
  • General:
  • Adhering to company processes, policies and procedures, particularly GDPR data protection legislation and health and safety best practices around social distancing
  • Working in a way which celebrates diversity in practice, programmes and projects and encourages best practice
  • Acting as a positive advocate for the company at all times
  • Carrying out any other reasonable duties as required and agreed with your line manager
  • Supporting the wider Marketing Team
Requirements:

Applicants should be literate and numerate. Grade C/4 and above in English Maths and IT are preferable

Training to be provided:

Digital Marketer:

Apprentices learn the skills they need on the job with the guidance of a development coach who is an expert from industry. You will finish your apprenticeship with a recognised qualification, valuable industry experience, money, and substantial opportunities for promotion.

This opportunity will allow the successful candidate to achieve a Level 3 Digital Marketer Apprenticeship with the potential to progress to a level 4 Marketing Executive apprenticeship. Thereafter, there is scope for further training and full-time employment. The business also has wider development opportunities and the successful candidate could continue within a Digital Marketing route or expand to mainstream marketing, Sales or even insurance. #IND02
