RADIO

2017-               Smith & Fox is a 5-part radio crime drama, which I have written, to be produced by myself and the 2017 Station Manager for the University of South Wales’s Student radio station Dragon Radio

2016-17           Role: Deputy Head of Arts and Script Editor/Producer for USW’s student radio station, Dragon Radio

  • Working as part of a team- to help DRAGON RADIO perform at its best
  • Review blogs and scripts- to give constructive feedback with attention to detail editing to fit amongst the scheduling for shows to be recorded

2015-16           Role: Radio Show Presenter for THE DOCTOR WHO SHOW and Reviewer on USW’s student radio station, Dragon Radio

 Presenter- Research and create content, confidence speaking live on air, managing differences of opinion

THEATRE

2017                Role: Creative Writer/Workshop Supporter for Hijinx Theatre Company

  • Created small scenes/pieces of writing tailored to the requirements of the actors involved, considering the disabilities of the actors under my own initiative
  • Assisted the development of a performance using the stimulus painting “The Raft of Medusa” to be performed on Cardiff Bay

2015-               Gran’s House was performed in a Scratch Night event, Scratch Your Eyes Out hosted by Dragon Radio

2015-Present Role: Theatre Technical support as Sound Technician and Stage Manager for Abbey Theatre, Nuneaton

TV

2017-               Beneath the Surface is my final year major project about a TDC transferring to Locksford, a Birmingham Police Station and finding that everything she thought she knew about her family and the job is a lie.

Professional Experience

2015-17           University of South Wales Students’ Union

Role: Student Ambassador for Open Days and Interview Days

Talking to the public, booking people onto and giving tours of the ATRiuM building, booking people onto tours of Cardiff, answering questions about the University, directing possible students to their sessions, directing possible students round the campus

First Prize for 14-18 year olds category completing a short story

Role: Teaching Assistance for 4-5 year olds

Looking after small groups of children, reading and helping them with arithmetic etc., playground duty, cleaning and preparing classroom for study time, working as a team member with teachers

Hobbies and Interests I have a variety of hobbies such as archery, swimming and playing the guitar.
