This intensive course is for people looking to get into a career in the film and video industry. In the course, you will cover elements like camera work, editing, managing productions, and more. 

Be a part of our free, intensive course, with a blend of online and in-person training and learn the basic skills of making a film and understand what it takes to put a professional shoot together. All applicants will get to speak with an employer and be able to pitch their ideas as part of the course.

• How a production in film works and what pre-production is needed

The core of this Skills Bootcamp, is the production of a Video Game, from conception to completion. You’ll use this to update your CV and Portfolio so that you can demonstrate to potential employers what you know and what you can do. The key to this Skills Bootcamp is focused on building up your portfolio, professional profile and applying for jobs. Whilst finalising your Video Game, you’ll also take part in After Care’ support to help you secure interviews and placements with Video Games Studios.

This is a 16-week Skills Bootcamp that will be a mix of online and in person training. It will be delivered by professionals who work in the Video Games industry. It is aimed at people seriously looking to work in this industry. After 4 weeks of upskilling there will be then 12 weeks of Video Game Development with support from industry mentors AND support securing interviews and work.
