This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative individual who enjoys social media, photography, videography and digital storytelling.
You will play a key role in helping tell the story of Our Community Foundation and the incredible young people and communities we support.
Working alongside our team, you'll create engaging content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and our website while helping launch exciting new digital projects including podcasts and video campaigns.
No two days will be the same.
Your role may include:
- Creating engaging content for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube
- Filming sports sessions, youth clubs, holiday camps and community events
- Photographing activities and creating promotional content
- Editing videos, reels and short-form content
- Designing graphics using Canva and Adobe software
- Creating content calendars and scheduling social media posts
- Supporting podcast production including filming, recording and editing
- Interviewing young people, volunteers and partners to tell inspiring stories
- Producing promotional videos for fundraising campaigns including our campaign to restore Naseby Youth Centre
- Monitoring social media engagement and helping improve digital performance
- Supporting live event coverage and behind-the-scenes filming
- Working with professional cameras, microphones, and podcast equipment
- Helping develop creative ideas for future campaigns and community projects
This role offers excellent variety with opportunities to attend community events, sports sessions, youth clubs, outreach projects, employment programmes and annual festivals throughout Birmingham.
Requirements:
A minimum of Grade C/4 GCSE in English anmd Maths.

Training to be provided:
You will complete the Content Creator Level 3 Apprenticeship with Creative Alliance. Training will include on-the-job and off-the-job learning to build skills in creating content for different audiences/channels, planning and producing content to a brief, brand/tone of voice, accessibility and inclusive communication, measuring performance, and safe/professional digital practice.
Apprentices learn the skills they need on the job with the guidance of a development coach who is an expert from industry. You will finish your apprenticeship with a recognised qualification, valuable industry experience and the opportunity for continued career progression.
Training is a blended learning delivery model: online learning, classroom sessions, work-based training, independent research, workplace projects, one-to-one support and training. Your training will include:

Things to consider:
The commute to the premises and other locations as required.
The person has to be flexible as this ISN'T a 9-5 role. It is focussed on afternoons and early evenings.
Applicants should be enthusiastic about digital media and creative content and have a genuine interest in photography, videography or social media.
Future prospects:
The apprentice will have extensive experience using professional camera equipment, podcast studios, social media platforms and creative software while building a portfolio that demonstrates content created for an award-winning charity, this leading to a permanent Digital Content Creator role within Our Community Foundation (subject to funding). Additional to that is the possibility of -
