Description:
Strike Group Ltd — Marketing Team
Delivered in partnership with Coach Core Foundation, Lifetime, and The Matchroom Charitable Foundation, via the Undercard programme.
About Strike Group
Strike Group is an Essex-based sports and education company on a mission to get more young people active, engaged, and supported — in the classroom, on the pitch, and in the community. The Group brings together three connected strands:
- Strike Camps: Our holiday activity camps running across multiple Essex and East of England venues (including HAF-funded programmes providing free places to children from lower-income families), delivering multi-activity sport, football camps, and themed days throughout the school holidays.
- Strike Education: Our in-school sports coaching and mentorship offer, working within mainstream and specialist schools (including SEND and SEMH settings) to deliver PE, coaching, and pastoral sports mentorship.
- SA Foundation: Our charitable arm, extending Strike Group's mission of using sport to create opportunity for young people who face barriers to participation.
Across all three strands, we are growing fast — with new venues, services, and partnerships — and we need someone who can help us tell our story.
The Role
We are looking for a Content Creator Apprentice to join our marketing team and help bring Strike Group's work to life across social media, campaigns, and outreach materials. You will be actively involved at camps, in schools, and at community sessions, capturing real content in the field.
This is a varied role. One week you might be filming highlights at a football camp; the next, building a campaign for a new venue launch or creating outreach materials for SA Foundation. You will gain exposure to content creation, campaign planning, marketing analytics, and stakeholder communication across holiday camps, in-school delivery, and charitable work.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation:
- Capture photo and video content at Strike Camps sessions, Strike Education coaching visits, and SA Foundation activities.
- Edit and produce short-form video and imagery for social media (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook).
- Write engaging copy for social posts, newsletters, and website updates.
Marketing & Campaigns:
- Support the planning and delivery of seasonal marketing campaigns (e.g., half-term camp launches, new venue openings).
- Help schedule and publish content across social channels.
- Assist with email marketing and parent/school communications.
- Track and report on basic campaign performance (reach, engagement, bookings).
Outreach & Brand Support:
- Produce marketing and outreach materials to support SA Foundation's work with schools, funders, and community partners.
- Help maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across Strike Camps, Strike Education, and SA Foundation.
- Support the wider team with ad hoc marketing and administrative tasks as the business grows.
What We're Looking For
- A genuine interest in content creation, social media, and storytelling.
- Comfortable being active and hands-on during on-site sessions at camps and in schools.
- Enthusiastic, reliable, and comfortable working within a small, fast-moving team.
- No prior experience required — we are looking for potential and a positive attitude. Full training and mentoring will be provided.
What You'll Gain
- A paid role (minimum 30 hours/week) with a portfolio of hands-on content and campaign work.
- A nationally recognised Level 3 apprenticeship qualification, plus Google Analytics and HubSpot certifications.
- Dedicated 1-to-1 support from a Lifetime Learning Coach throughout the programme
- Wraparound pastoral support and mentoring, including access to Coach Core's graduate network and Matchroom's sporting events network.
- Genuine progression opportunities within a growing business.
