Front of House & Multi-Channel Marketer Apprentice

Inkantations is an award-winning premium tattoo studio offering a customer-focused experience like no other. Our sister company, The Kiri Clinic, is a world-leading medical tattooing clinic specialising in hyper-realistic nipple tattooing (post-mastectomy) and restorative tattooing including SMP (scalp micropigmentation), 3D navel tattooing and scar camouflage. We’re looking for a Front of House & Multi-Channel Marketer Apprentice to join our growing team. This is an on-site role based at our lead studio in Towcester, combining reception/front-of-house support and studio administration, alongside marketing support that will grow over time as you build confidence and capability.

Apprenticeship & progression

You will complete the Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer Apprenticeship. There may be potential progression to further marketing training (including Level 4) and longer-term employment opportunities, subject to performance and business needs.

Key responsibilities
Front of House / Reception & Client Support

  • Welcome clients and maintain a calm, professional front-of-house environment
  • Answer calls and handle enquiries sensitively, taking accurate messages and responding in a warm, reassuring way
  • Support appointment bookings, confirmations and basic diary coordination (training provided)
  • Provide planned Saturday cover (two Saturdays per month) and some school holiday cover (planned in advance)
  • Assist with opening/closing tasks (where appropriate), room readiness and day-to-day studio coordination
  • Provide general admin support including basic record keeping, filing and internal processes

Marketing (growing over time as you become confident)

  • Work closely with Terri to create engaging content for social media, website updates, email campaigns and blogs, always written with sensitivity and compassion
  • Schedule posts, monitor engagement and respond to messages/comments promptly and empathetically
  • Support photography/video content for social channels and the website (where appropriate and compliant)
  • Support simple campaign planning and delivery across multiple channels
  • Assist with basic email marketing activity to nurture enquiries and strengthen relationships
  • Track performance using relevant tools, share insights and suggest improvements
  • Support partnership building with medical professionals and local partners to grow awareness and referrals

Skills & attributes

  • Strong written and verbal communication and excellent attention to detail; confident, outgoing nature
  • Organised, proactive and willing to learn
  • Confident using IT and comfortable learning new tools
  • Friendly, empathetic approach when speaking with clients
  • Interest in social media, content and marketing basics
  • Creative background strongly preferred; portfolio welcomed (photography, video, design, writing, social media work)

You need to have a GCSE in Maths and English at Grade 4/C or above.

Training to be provided:

You will be completing Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer Apprentice. On the job, full training will be provided for front-of-house duties including handling enquiries sensitively, booking/diary support, studio processes, and basic administration/record keeping. Ongoing coaching and regular reviews will support development and progression.

As a Multi-Channel Marketer Apprentice, you help with planning, creating and implementing, impactful marketing campaigns across digital platforms. As part of the Marketing team, the multi-channel marketers will contribute to the implementation of the Marketing strategy and plans. They will be responsible for delivering day-to-day marketing activities across a multitude of platforms, channels and systems that are essential to the Marketing function and activities of the company.

Training is a blended learning delivery model: online learning, classroom sessions, work-based training, independent research, workplace projects, one-to-one support and training. Your training will include:

For the Multi-Channel Marketer apprenticeship, there is an end point assessment. This is done in the final part of the apprenticeship and is how the apprentice is judged on their learning and will include: 

  • Producing a written Report
  • Portfolio of evidence based work
  • Presentation and Q&A
  • Professional Discussion based on Portfolio

This role involves sensitive client enquiries, so discretion, empathy and professionalism are essential.
Future prospects:

On completion of this apprenticeship, the apprentice will have developed strong front-of-house, administration and customer service skills, alongside practical multi-channel marketing capability. They will be able to confidently support client enquiries and bookings, maintain accurate records, and contribute to a calm, professional studio experience.

They will also be able to plan and deliver marketing activity across multiple channels, create sensitive and compliant content for social media and website updates, support email marketing and basic campaign activity, and use analytics/reporting tools to measure performance and recommend improvements.

There is potential progression to further marketing training (including Level 4), and longer-term employment opportunities, subject to performance and business needs.
