Graphic Design and Content Creator Apprentice

Nemesis Now are creators and suppliers of original pop culture merchandise, giftware and collectible products throughout UK, USA, and Europe.    

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Graphic Design and Content Creator Apprentice to join our Creative Team in Stoke on Trent. This role is ideal for someone starting their career in graphic design and creative content; with a strong interest in design principles, visual storytelling, and marketing. You will work closely with our Senior Graphic Designer to support the creation of product packaging, photography assets, and marketing visuals.

Full training will be provided for the apprenticeship, and it will involve learning the skills needed on the job with the guidance of a development coach who is an expert from industry. You’ll finish your Content Creator (Level 3) apprenticeship with a recognised qualification, valuable industry experience, and opportunities for ongoing role development within the business.

Throughout the 15-month qualification, you will be provided with blended training and have seminars to attend, either at a local training centre or delivered online via a webinar. Additionally, we will provide hands-on experience, mentorship, and guidance from the creative team in both design, content and photography.

Be accountable

  • Assist the Senior Graphic Designer with the development of packaging designs across various product ranges and Brands
  • Help create artwork layouts and production-ready files for printing
  • Support the design of marketing assets including digital banners and image compositions for marketing campaigns.
  • Assist our in-house Photographer with the setup and execution of product photo shoots
  • Learn and apply basic photographic techniques including lighting, composition, and camera operation
  • Accurately naming, organise and catalogue image files post-shoot
  • Contribute to the creation of visual content for marketing campaigns
  • Edit product images for use across eCommerce platforms and promotional materials
  • Support the Marketing Team with visual content creation developing digital content for video, print and website.

You will have success here if your skills and experience include; 

  • A grade of 4/C GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English
  • Not previously studied the course content at the same or higher level
  • A keen interest in graphic design and content creation
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop and Illustrator)
  • Strong attention to detail and an eye for composition
  • Organised with good time management skills
  • Eagerness to learn and take direction
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
