Description:

This role is designed to fully support the Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer Apprenticeship Standard, giving you structured experience across content, campaigns, channels, and performance reporting.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

Event Promotions & Campaign Delivery
  • Support planning and delivery of promotions for:
    What’s On programming, new releases, special screenings
    Live cinema/events (e.g., NT Live, Opera)}
    Seasonal campaigns (school holidays, Christmas, summer, community events)
  • Help build and maintain a simple content calendar and weekly priorities.
  • Coordinate campaign assets and messaging across channels to ensure consistency.
Audience & Community Engagement
  • Help manage and respond to messages/comments in a timely, friendly tone.
  • Support community marketing initiatives including:
    WOW membership, gift cards, seat sponsorship
    Volunteering and partnership activity
  • Take and triage enquiries (online and in-person where needed), escalating to the right team member.
Copywriting, Film Research & Editorial Content
  • Research upcoming films and write engaging descriptions for the website and e-shot/newsletter.
  • Write short film reviews and community/event highlights (tone and length guided by the team).
  • Draft and refine copy for:
    Social posts, captions, stories/reels
    Website updates and listings
    Email/newsletter content
    Posters/flyers and other collateral
Social Media Management (FB/X/Instagram/TikTok)
  • Create, schedule, and publish content across Facebook, X, Instagram, and TikTok.
  • Source and/or capture photos and short-form video for social (where appropriate and permitted).
  • Support basic community management and social listening (what people are saying, what content lands).
Email Marketing
  • Support creation of the weekly newsletter:
    Selecting and structuring content
    Drafting copy and calls-to-action
    Improving subject lines and CTAs through simple testing
  • Help grow the subscriber list and improve engagement (open/click rates) through basic segmentation where possible.
Website Updates & Listings Accuracy
  • Update the website with film/event pages, news posts, banners, and basic housekeeping.
  • Ensure listings are accurate and consistent (dates/times, pricing, links, “Book now” CTAs).
  • Upload and format content and images in line with brand style.
Media Archive & Asset Management
  • Organise and maintain the media archive (photos, video clips, artwork, posters).
  • Ensure files are named, stored, and tagged consistently so content is easy to find and reuse.
Marketing Collateral & Local Promotion
  • Develop simple marketing collateral (posters, flyers, digital screens, partner packs) using tools like Canva/Adobe Express.
  • Create partner toolkits (copy, images, links) to make sharing easy for local businesses, schools, and community groups.
PR Assistance
  • Support basic PR tasks such as:
    Drafting short press releases or event notes
    Compiling media lists and outreach templates
    Gathering quotes, images, and event details for press
Performance Tracking & Reporting
  • Track weekly performance across channels (where data is available):
    Top posts and engagement
    Website clicks/traffic drivers
    Email open/click rates
    Ticket sales drivers (where possible)
  • Produce a short weekly update: “what worked / what to try next.”

You will be completing Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer Apprentice

As a Multi-Channel Marketer Apprentice, you help with planning, creating and implementing, impactful marketing campaigns across digital platforms. As part of the Marketing team, the multi-channel marketers will contribute to the implementation of the Marketing strategy and plans. You will be responsible for delivering day-to-day marketing activities across a multitude of platforms, channels and systems that are essential to the Marketing function and activities of the company.

Training is a blended learning delivery model: online learning, classroom sessions, work-based training, independent research, workplace projects, one-to-one support and training. Your training will include:

The Multi-Channel Marketer apprenticeship includes an end point assessment. This is done in the final part of the apprenticeship and is how the apprentice is judged on their learning and will include: 

• Producing a written Report
• Portfolio of evidence based work
• Presentation and Q&A
• Professional Discussion based on Portfolio
