Ghetti Joe have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated Digital Marketing Apprentice to join their team.

Ghetti Joe, is an agency based in Birmingham’s digital and creative quarter Digbeth. The company handles a variety of projects across an array of industries.

Working alongside our marketing team, you will be able to learn and develop skills related to every aspect of digital marketing and you will be involved in handling accounts from the retail sector, hospitality and leisure, culture and festivals.

You will be tasked to develop digital strategies and plan marketing campaigns from start through to completion, using social media channels, measuring and analysing, copy writing and content creation, email marketing, and much more.

As a member of the marketing team you will be working closely with our social media executive. As part of your digital marketing apprenticeship you will be guided and supported through all aspects of content writing, sourcing and scheduling content, pitching blogs and articles, developing online campaigns and e-shots and general marketing material.

This role requires an enthusiastic and motivated young person who has a general interest in all aspects of marketing.

The role will involve:

  • Creating engaging content
  • Copywriting for online articles and blogs for clients
  • Handling various social media accounts
  • Co-producing online campaigns
  • Working alongside the Social Media editor on multiple projects at one time
  • Writing and building creative content to deadlines
  • Attending brainstorming meetings
  • Completing high volumes of content on a daily/weekly basis
  • Gathering data and analysing the results
  • Compiling reports
  • Researching and developing ideas and campaigns

As part of a small team you will be required to carry out tasks as and when required this includes general office and cleaning duties. You’ll be expected to pitch in and do a whole range of jobs that a small creative company needs doing.

Requirements:

You need to have a GCSE in Maths and English at Grade 4/C or above.

You will be completing Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer Apprentice

(N.B. Formally Digital Marketer Level 3.  As of Dec 2023, Digital Marketer has been updated to Multi-Channel Marketer. This new standard expands on the curriculum and provides learning on all aspects of marketing instead of solely focusing on digital marketing.)

As a Multi-Channel Marketer Apprentice, you help with planning, creating and implementing, impactful marketing campaigns across digital platforms. As part of the Marketing team, the multi-channel marketers will contribute to the implementation of the Marketing strategy and plans. They will be responsible for delivering day-to-day marketing activities across a multitude of platforms, channels and systems that are essential to the Marketing function and activities of the company.

For the Multi-Channel Marketer apprenticeship, there is an end point assessment. This is done in the final part of the apprenticeship and is how the apprentice is judged on their learning and will include: 

• Producing a written Report
• Portfolio of evidence based work
• Presentation and Q&A
• Professional Discussion based on Portfolio
