We are looking to appoint an entrepreneurial and innovative marketing apprentice to;

  • Support the provide effective multichannel marketing support to the S&A Academy, engaging a range of customers and increasing brand visibility.
  • Develop existing marketing strategy and support directors in developing marketing campaigns.
  • Instagram, Facebook, TikTok – planning calendar, posting in line with agreed schedule, developing content, building engagement & visibility.
  • LinkedIn – posting in line with agreed schedule, write articles, managing automations, planning acquisition campaigns, proactively searching to add to network, engage with potential leads and respond or forward as necessary.
  • Assist with the creation of marketing materials, including advertising, direct mail, brochures, trade shows, etc.
  • Assist with the creation and ordering of promotional items such as business cards, t-shirts, etc.
  • Help organise trade shows and other events as needed.
  • Website – Working with Operations Manager to update the website blog with new and interesting content
  • Support the creation of web pages to include website copy, landing pages, and other website content.
  • B2B Newsletter – creating content for a monthly newsletter, distributed via HubSpot, and using analysis to drive interaction.
  • Provide monthly update on marketing performance to academy directors.
  • Uphold company image and tone of voice across all media channels.
  • Assist with the development of marketing strategies to increase company sales and expand our reach into new markets.
  • Edit images, videos and other materials, proof read copy and design basic marketing collateral and presentations.
  • To undertake the relevant apprenticeship qualification.
  • To undertake other reasonable duties as directed by your line manager.
Requirements:

You need to have achieved Level C/4 or higher in English and Maths GCSE (or equivalent) to be accepted onto this apprenticeship.

Training to be provided:

You will be completing the Level 3 Multi-channel Marketer Apprenticeship

(N.B. Formally Digital Marketer Level 3.  As of Dec 2023, Digital Marketer has been updated to Multi-Channel Marketer. This new standard expands on the curriculum and provides learning on all aspects of marketing instead of solely focusing on digital marketing.)

As a Multi-Channel Marketer Apprentice, you help with planning, creating and implementing, impactful marketing campaigns across digital platforms. As part of the Marketing team, the multi-channel marketers will contribute to the implementation of the Marketing strategy and plans. They will be responsible for delivering day-to-day marketing activities across a multitude of platforms, channels and systems that are essential to the Marketing function and activities of the company.

Training is a blended learning delivery model: online learning, classroom sessions, work-based training, independent research, workplace projects, one-to-one support and training. Your training will include:

For the Multi-Channel Marketer apprenticeship, there is an end point assessment. This is done in the final part of the apprenticeship and is how the apprentice is judged on their learning and will include: 

• Producing a written Report
• Portfolio of evidence based work
• Presentation and Q&A
• Professional Discussion based on Portfolio

This is a mostly hybrid working from home, with occasional use of the wework office based in Birmingham or Manchester. Occasional travel will be required to networking events.
